It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Merv’s passing. Surrounded with love, on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Kingston General Hospital, with his family by his side. Merv celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss this past June, to the love of his life, Diana (nee High). He leaves his son Brad (Stephanie), his daughter Marni, his furbaby Harley and son-in-law, Doug. Merv’s legacy will live on in his cherished grandchildren Marshal and Delaina Mae. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Brenda (Junior), Wilda, Phil, Ray (Puddy), Ronda (Dan); and in-laws Bill and Jane. He will be fondly remembered by his Aunts Rowena (Erwood) and Margaret, several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Merv was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Georgia, his in-laws Wally and Effie High, brother Winston, brother-in-law, Wally High and sister-in-law, Debbie Bracken. Merv’s spirit was strong and his humour was a source of strength to all those who knew, loved and visited him.
