Obituary of James Albert Nokes

NOKES, James A. "Jim" Retired, 39 year Alcan employee Peacefully, at Trillium Long Term Care on Thursday, November 24, 2016, in his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband of 66 years to Dorothy (nee Montgomery) of Kingston. Loving father of Carol Breurkes (John) of Ajax. Affectionately known as "Gramps" to his grandsons Adam (Stephanie) and Chris. Predeceased by his sister Marion Bracken (late Norman) and by his twin sister Jean. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and their families. In accordance with Jim's wishes, there will be no visitation. All are welcome to a graveside service at Cataraqui Cemetery on Monday, November 28 at 2:00 pm., with Jim's niece, Reverend Lynda Price officiating. For those wishing to attend the graveside service, it is recommended that you arrive in the James Reid Funeral Home parking lot by 1:45 pm for departure to the cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to The Alzheimer Society of Kingston would be appreciated by the family.
