Obituary of Kenneth George Ayling

AYLING, Kenneth George - Ret.'d DuPont Kingston - 39 yrs. Passed away peacefully at Fairmount Home on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Evalena Alice (Dusharm), and dear father of Allan (Bev), Wayne (Marjory - predeceased) and Brian (Nancy). Always remembered by his grandchildren Heather (Fabien), Jeffrey, Gregory and Julia. Great-grandfather of Emilie and Thomas. Also survived by his sisters, Shirley Kirkwood and Phyllis Shirley and his brother, Thomas (Linda). Ken loved the outdoors and had a lifelong passion for fishing, especially for lake trout on his cherished Devil Lake. Ken's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff on Connell 3 at the Kingston General Hospital and the staff at Fairmount Homes for all their care. Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 7-9 p.m., and Friday, October 28 from 10 am - 10:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie. For those who wish, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
