MCKAY, Ronald Edwin February 09, 1923 to October 16, 2016 Devoted husband to Maureen Sheila (O'Riordan) McKay of Kingston, Ontario since September 17, 1949. Proud son of Thomas Victor McKay and Anne (Heywood) McKay, late of Hamilton, Ontario. Proud grandson of James McKay and Mary Ann Thrush, late of Hamilton, Ontario. Loving father of Deborah McKay, Nancy (Gordon) Cassells, Heather Ann McKay, Robert Ian McKay, and grandfather of Emma and Jade. Professional Electrical Engineer, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario Science 1947; Retired Bell Canada International Telecommunications, Ottawa, Ontario 1982. Ron passed peacefully at Rideaucrest Home, Kingston, Ontario on Sunday, October 16, 2016 with his wife and children close by his side. The family will gather privately at Cataraqui Cemetery for the Rite of Committal and Prayers with Monsignor Joseph Lynch presiding.
