Obituary of Ivan David Walker

WALKER, Ivan David Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 88. Dave was the beloved husband of the late Violet (nee Kirkham). Dear father of Heather (Harold Kirkland), Stephen (Suzanne Dumont), Susan, Ken (Claire), loving grandfather of Jennifer, Liam, Adam, Yasha and Briana. Survived by his sister-in-law Bev Walker, and predeceased by his brother Waldo, sisters Joan Bullock (Bud), June Revelle (Derb) and fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was a proud veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. The family will receive friends at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00-10:45 am, followed by the service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment at Sydenham Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Dave’s memory.
