Long-time educator with the Limestone District School Board and later in life at Queen’s University

It is with great sadness that we announce Ken’s passing at Kingston Health Sciences Centre-KGH, on Sunday, February 14, 2021.  Beloved husband of Gail (nee Murphy), cherished father of Daniel Ball (Jen Hobbs) and Marcia Loricchio (Dino) and caring grandfather to Christopher and Lauren Ball, Melina Loricchio and Owen Hobbs.  Ken was predeceased by his parents, Watson and Mary (Neddow) Ball and sister Shirley Heard (late Roger).  Survived by nieces, Joanne Brown and Heather Melvin.  In accordance with Ken’s wishes, cremation at James Reid Crematorium will be followed by interment at Sandhill Cemetery at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, or South Frontenac Community Services, in Ken’s memory.
