BAILEY, Frank Herbert

1952 - 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce Frank’s peaceful passing on Friday, February 5, 2021, surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of almost forty years of Jennifer (nee Moir).  Cherished father of Caitlin Hoy and her husband Clayton of Toronto, and of Megan Gomm and her husband Paul of Staines-upon-Thames, UK.  Adoring grandfather of Frank and Imogen Gomm.  Frank was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Madeline Bailey.  He will be dearly missed by his sisters Madeliene Tarasick (Steve), Karen O’Brien (Paul) and Tracy Schoen, and by his brothers Richard Bailey and William Bailey (Trecylyn).  He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as by his great-niece Izzy, who shared his great love of nature.

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family inurnment will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Jennifer, Caitlin and Megan would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the medical and nursing staff of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, who tried so valiantly to save Frank’s life, who ensured his comfort and dignity in his last days and hours, and who made a loved one’s passing so much more bearable in very trying times and circumstances.
