1952 - 2021

John Neill Wilson passed away on Wednesday, January 27^th, 2021 following a long struggle with lung disease.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years (Marbeth), his sons Rodney and Keith, his daughters’ in law Corrina and Alicia and his Grandchildren Hayden, Madison, Evan, Keira and Charlotte.  He is survived by his sister Kathleen and brother Joe.

John as most of you will know him, or “The Wass,” was a fighter in every sense. He was tough as nails and as strong as they came.  He grew up in the hardest parts of Belfast and had many stories to tell, over and over again.  Everyone who spent time with John knew that a joke or a good yarn wasn’t long in coming. 

He had many passions in his life but over these past few years his grandchildren were everything he lived for.  He loved his family, and on his final day, he knew that everyone loved him.  He will be missed constantly.
