Unexpectedly on Thursday, December 17, 2020, in his 73rd year.  Husband of Maxine (nee Turner). Dear father of Melanie Thornton, Robert Morris (Judy), Rebecca Detlor (Ron), grandfather to Jessica and Jacob Thornton, Emily Morris, Tyler, Ethan and Julia Detlor and great grandfather to Sophie Thornton. In accordance with Mr. Thornton's wishes arrangements for cremation will be placed in the care of James Reid Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a church of your choice.
