Dorothy Ida Routley
1924 - 2020

Dorothy passed away on September 3, 2020 peacefully. She is predeceased by her parents Jack and Phyllis Hammel, her husband Len Routley and her son Douglas Routley. Her only brother, Bob Hammel, predeceased her by a few months.

Dorothy was born and raised in Toronto, married and moved to Montreal with her husband who was transferred there with the Toronto Dominion Bank. They spent their entire married life in Montreal. Dorothy was involved in many volunteer activities including Montreal West United Church.

After losing her only child, she moved to Kingston to be closer to extended family. She lived for 4 years at Royale Place. the family thanks the staff for their compassionate care during those years. She found good friends there and at Edith Rankin United Church.

Dorothy will be interred on September 11, 2020 in Brooklin, Ontario. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.
