To the family of Carol Kelley, I would like to pass on my sincerest condolences for your great loss. I knew Carol for a short while - she was my instructor in 2003 at OISE - I was in her I/S Methods of teaching English course. I loved it. I knew then that I wanted to teach like her, and to become a teacher-educator like her. And I have since become one - I teach I/S English Methods at Niagara university, Vaughn campus. I still have ALL the resources from her course, and use so many of them with my candidates to enrich their learning, as Carol did mine. She was so progressive, innovative, creative and kind. I can only aspire to be half the educator that Carol was. Her work and her passion live on in the lives she touched. Please know that she will always be remembered. Warmest regards, Laryssa Gorecki

Dearest Beth and Mashell, Steve and I are so very sorry for the loss of Carol. I am so grateful to have known her. When I think of my teenage years, I cant help but think of that big house with the big kitchen on Woodfield - Carol gave me a lot of advice in that kitchen - some of it solicited, some not :) and we shared a lot of laughs too. I loved her intelligence and confidence and her 'coolness' she will be greatly missed and remembered fondly. We send all our Love. xoxo Lee-Anne & Steve
