Obituary of Jack Hoadley

HOADLEY, Jack

It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Jack Hoadley, on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre-KGH. Devoted husband and best friend of Chris. Dearly loved father of Kelly Lockwood (predeceased) and Alyson Hoadley (Jeremy Rodrigues). Fun, loving and cherished Poppa of Jack and Madeline Lockwood, Joseph, John and Andre Rodrigues. Beloved son-in-law of Verla Nicholson. Survived by brothers Neil, Mike, Mark and Greg (Sue) and by sisters Sharon, Cindy and Dawn (Murray). Predeceased by his parents Percy and Irene Hoadley and brothers Francis, Doug and Brent and sister Janice. He leaves behind many dear friends who he loved and considered family.  

Although Jack's circle of friends, colleagues and acquaintances are too numerous to count, due to Covid 19 restrictions, Jack's family will gather privately at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard for a Chapel service officiated by Rev. Dr. Nadene Grieve-Deslippe.  Interment will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to U.H.K.F. (Providence Care Hospital for Palliative Care), or a charity of your choice in Jack's memory.  

Jack had a kind and generous heart. He was strong willed but always fair and patient. He always had a smile to give and a song in his heart.
