Obituary of Magee Druce
Magee Elizabeth Druce
January 30, 1974 to May 2, 2023
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my daughter Magee Druce on May 2, 2023. She was 49 years old and passed away suddenly in her Trenton home, from heart failure.
Magee was predeceased by her husband Stephen Fargey, father Robert Druce, and leaves behind her mother Sharon Druce (nee Magee), her brother, John Druce, and stepchildren, David (Megan), Jason (Chantelle), Alexis and four grandchildren, Damon, Jase, Maddison and Abel.
Magee was born in Cornwall, but was raised in Kingston, where she graduated from Loyalist Collegiate Vocational Institute (LCVI) in 1992. As well she graduated from the Electronics Engineering Technicians program at St. Lawrence College. Magee worked at Star Tech and Assurant while in Kingston.
In November 2016 Magee and Stephen were married. Anyone who knew them as a couple, would describe them as true soul mates. She never truly recovered from the agony and pain of losing Stephen, when he suddenly and traumatically died in August 2021.
Magee touched the lives of many people in her short life. She had Kingston, Belleville, Trenton and numerous social media associates and lasting friendships, in all three destinations, Regardless of how you met each other, she was an unforgettable girl. To the friends and family Magee had in Kingston, she added her new Fargey family, along with Stephen’s workplace mates and his Belleville hometown comrades. They also shared and connected new and lasting friendships together, with their active social media presence.
In the summer of 2020, they fell in love with a Heritage Home in Trenton, moved there and began making their retirement life plans. She loved to be around her stepchildren, grandchildren, cooking amazing foods (never fish, sweet potatoes or squash), entertaining, sewing quilts and listen to any type of music. She was also a very compassionate girl. During the early days of COVID she turned her quilting supplies and skills into free cotton masks for anyone in need of them.
