Obituary of Linda Ruth Bimson

Linda Ruth Bimson (nee Rogers) passed away peacefully in Napanee, Ontario on July 2nd, 2023 with family at her side. Linda was the mother of three beautiful and loving daughters, Karen Mayville (Brian St. John), Janet (Mitch Fortin), and Leslie (Jason Peterson) and stepmother to Richard Bimson (Sheila), Tom Bimson and Carolyn (Terry Fernihough). She was affectionately known as “Grammie” to Kent (Patricia), Cassandra (Pat), Brandon (Jaime), Andrea (Robert), Zachary, Molly, Veronica, Thomas and Keefe and “Great Grammie” to Victoria and Bellamy. She was also very excited to meet two new great grandchildren this September. Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, best friend and love of her life, Thomas James (Jim) Bimson.

For the last eight years, Linda has focused all of her love and her attention on family but always missing her best friend. Now she is in his arms again smiling and dancing the night away.

Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
