Ronald Salmon

Obituary of Ronald Arthur Salmon

With deep sadness we announce that Ron passed away on June 5th in his 65th year after a battle with cancer. Ron was proud to be a fourth generation Kingstonian.  He is predeceased by his parents Natalie (2005) and Roy (2016).  Ron enjoyed a 36-year career in advertising sales working for Canada's largest publishing companies, which took him to all corners of North America.  Ron enjoyed time on the golf course, even though he was a bit of a hack.  He always said, "You'll never see me mad on the course."  He was an avid traveller, and was fortunate to visit Europe, The Caribbean, Bermuda, South America, and Australia.  Ron will be missed by his many friends and family, especially his wife of 37 years, Christine, their daughter Veronica, his brother Roy Junior, Rhonda and Matt Storms and family, Craig and Rhea Grant and family, and cousins Cliff Salmon and Nancy Black (Stittsville).  He will be also missed by his fur friends Chopper and Melvin. Thank you to Dr. Albert (Brockville Family Medical Centre), staff at Kingston General Hospital/Cancer Clinic, Brockville General Hospital, and the Brockville Bayshore and Palliative Care teams.   A private Graveside Service and Celebration of Life has already taken place.
