Obituary of James Hansford
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Jim Hansford. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter, and Marion; his brother Teddie; and his sister Linda. He will be greatly missed by his wife Annette; his daughter Julia (Brandon Swain); and his sons Tim and Jordon, as well as his brother David (Melanie); his niece Zaineb (Sonya), and his nephews Mitch and Sloan. Jim had no grandchildren but will be missed by his grand fur babies Archer, Pepper, Titi, and Paul McCaurtney.
Jim fought a long hard battle with many ailments spanning 14 years, but he never lost his humor or zest for life; he never ever gave up the fight. Jim was a jack of all trades, working in many fields throughout his life, but his true passion was always cooking, and he was often called ‘Jim the sauce man”. In his life, he did not have many other hobbies, but was passionate about camping and loved being a seasonal camper at UEL campground. He will be forever remembered and greatly missed by his many friends and family.
There will be a celebration of life for Jim on Monday, June 5th, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at Crossroads United Church, 690 Sir John A MacDonald Blvd. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Alagille Syndrome Alliance, the Lung Association, or a charity of your choice.
