Obituary of Kent Lloyd

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kent Lloyd on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at the age of 80. He passed peacefully at KHSC with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol, his two sons Michael (Sheri) and Jeffrey (Kim), and his grandchildren, Austen, Jackson, Adalyn and Braylon. Predeceased by brother Ross, sister-in-law Debbie, and brothers-in-law Ray Warren, Gerry Feeley and David Feeley. Fondly remembered and greatly missed by sister Dorothy, brothers-in-law Bob Feeley, Alan Feeley, sisters-in-law Nora, Patsy, Anne, Susan, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Born on March 18, 1943 in Kingston, Ontario to parents Jack and Jean (Ross), Kent grew up with enthusiasm for all sports, in particular golf and hockey. He was a long-standing member of over 60 years at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club where he enjoyed golf, curling and bridge. He was a respected chartered accountant who was well-known in the Kingston business community. Kent enjoyed spending time with his family, his many friends and golfing buddies.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
