Margaret “June” Ivanic (nee Rea)

Peacefully passed away at KGH on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in her 90th year.

Born June 5, 1933, in Kingston, Ontario. Dear daughter of William Rea and Anna Hunter, Belfast, Ireland. Sister to Betty Rea (predeceased), Shirley Melrose (Don), Toronto, William (Bill) Rea Kingston, Patricia Rea, Quebec (predeceased).

Loving and devoted wife of 49 years to Emile (predeceased). Mother to John, Michael, Susan, and Marty. Grandmother and great-grandmother.

June was a 20-year Volunteer at Hotel Due Hospital and a long-time employee at Sears Canada.

We thank all the Health Care workers, KGH nurses, Bayshore care, CBI care, and Frontenac Paradmed services.

At June’s request, there will be no funeral service. A private interment will be held at the Cataraqui Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
