Obituary of Rick Good

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Henriecus Henry (Rick) Good at his home on April 25, 2023, with his wife, Patsy by his side. Rick was an injured worker but continued to enjoy his life with his family by golfing, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Rick was most passionate about woodworking and oil painting; he had many projects on the go. Rick loved to enjoy gardening, especially growing tomatoes for himself and his daughter Wendy; I think he just grew them for her. He enjoyed hunting with the Hagerman boys at the farm. Rick was a member at The Landings Golf Course until 2016 when he was diagnosed with dementia, which took hold of him. Rick has gone to heaven to be with his brother Peter, and I know they are fishing together with their parents Henry and Henrietta Good enjoying Molson Export.

Rick will be missed by his wife Patsy (Bilow) of 40 years and his 2 children Wendy (Kevin) Bauder, Sheldon (Jessica) Good, and four grandchildren Jaden, Zane, Zahra, Zachary, and his dog Maddie, she will miss his cuddles and extra food! He leaves behind 3 sisters Dianna Hurshman, Marianne Good, Brenda Good, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for Rick through this journey, that he and his family were on. We would also like to thank Janice Woods (PSW) for her determination to help Rick and the numerous euchre card games.

Rick is resting at James Reid Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2023 (1900 Counter Street. Kingston, Ontario)
