My condolences on the loss of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Yesterday I watched the live stream and it was a worthy service. Doug and Josh's words made a big impression, online too! The stories about her garden (and squirrels!) her love of travel, volunteering and generosity were recognizable. Memories immediately came back to me from more than 12 years ago when I was allowed to stay with my aunt Audrey for a few weeks. Audrey then recalled memories of her sister: my own grandmother who passed away much too soon. I really enjoyed talking to Audrey, eating together, listening to music, watching talk shows on CNN, and visiting you in your nice houses. It was also good to meet my second cousins then (I remember the hockey game of Luke and Corey, the piano playing of Cara, and the ball games of Jonathan!). You have had a very nice (grand)mother. Audrey was a cheerful, religious and hospitable woman. I am proud that she was part of our family. I hope you continue to cherish all the wonderful memories of her. Doug, Richard, Caroline, Jeannie, Josh, Corey, Luke, Cara, Allison, Jonathan, and all the family members outside of Kingston, my deepest condolences on your loss. Hope to see you all again one day… you are always most welcome at your Dutch family!
