Obituary of Faye Myrla Wemp

WEMP, Faye Myrla (nee Eves)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Faye, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, KGH, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 28th in her 84th year.

Faye, loving wife of 63 years to Cedric “Ted”, devoted mom to Lisa and Steve (Bonnie), and cherished grandma of Kayla and Keigan (Ege). Faye is survived by her sisters-in-law Marilyn and Grace Eves and brother-in-law Raymond Wemp and was predeceased by her parents John and Peachie Eves, sister Mary and brothers Charles, Royce, Jack and James . She will be greatly missed by her grandfur babies Mia and Tessa as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye loved to read to spend every moment with those that she loved including her family and dear friends. She has overcome many battles with her health throughout the years but did so with dignity and grace. A special thank you is extended to the staff at KHSC, Davies 4, for the great care that she received.

In keeping with Faye’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a late date. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kingston Humane Society.
