Obituary of Aldwyth Chisholm
Catherine Aldwyth Chisholm (nee McCaul)
October 15, 1931 – January 19, 2023
Aldwyth passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023, in Kingston, ON. She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Robin M. Chisholm, daughter Sheila, sister Mary, and parents Gordon and Buddug McCaul. She is deeply loved and will be missed by her children: David (Debra), Catherine (Peter), Andrew (Lisa), Heather; grandchildren: Sheila (Trevor), Laura (Tony), Marie (Adam), and Robert; great-grandchildren: Eleanor, Beatrice, and Everett; sisters: Helen (Bob), Charlotte (John), Nansi (Del), brother-in-law Ross, plus many nieces and nephews.
Aldwyth graduated from the University of Toronto (Victoria College). She taught school in Whitby before marrying Robin. A dedicated member of St. James Anglican Church where she led the Craft Group for decades. She was very proud of her Welsh Heritage. In her spare time, she loved spending time with family, celebrating milestones, and travelling to Europe, England, Wales, Ireland, Alaska, and the USA. The family would like to say a special thank you to KGH ICU for their care.
The funeral service will be at St. James Anglican Church (10 Union Street) on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 am with Bishop Michael Oulton officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the parish hall. A private family interment will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery.
