It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Calvin passed away in his 88th year at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Scott). Proud and loving father of Kelly, Kim Callaghan (Steve) and Jason (Shelly) and grandpa of Michael, Ryan (Megan), Lexi, Lucas and Jaden and great-grandpa of Bryn and Rosemary.

He was predeceased by his parents Armour and Dorothy (nee Ennis) Crowe as well as siblings Harold, Jim, Bernard, Morris, Ruby and Betty.

He is survived by sisters-in-law Catherine Crowe, Lucille Crowe and sister-in-law Sandra Gordon (Peter) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calvin was a simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was an auto mechanic by trade but could fix or repair anything and never threw anything away because he might need it some day.

Calvin enjoyed classic country music, gardening, boating and fishing on the St. Lawrence River and Dog Lake but mostly spending time with his family.

The family will accept visitors to the James Reid Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 - 10:50 am followed by a service in the Chapel at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Center. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Calvin’s honour.
