Obituary of Gilbert Boyd

BOYD, (Gilbert) DAVID

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of David on November 1, 2022, in his 77th year. He was predeceased by his parents Sylvia and David Francis Boyd. He leaves behind his sister Jacqueline of Kelowna and brother Ian of Victoria. Much loved father of Terry (Jill) and Daniel (Erica). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Courtney (Brad), Jessica (Dan), and Ryan (Tammy). Fondly remembered by Daimon, Riley, and Faith. He was a loving great grandpa to Dallas.

David worked for Corrections Canada for the majority of his working career. His passions included the love of his pugs, culinary arts and entertaining, being Town Crier for Rideau Lakes Township, reading, and writing.

Cremation has taken place. Please join us in raising a glass as we celebrate David's Life at a reception on Friday, November 25th, 2022, between 1 pm - 4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion #560 Fireside room (734 Montreal St. Kingston). In lieu of flowers, a donation to a local Humane Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
