Obituary of Teresa Boffa

BOFFA, Teresa Carla Maria (nee Russo)

At Helen Henderson Care Centre, on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at age of 84. Teresa, beloved wife of the late Michele “Mike” (2021) and loving mother of Luigi Boffa (Angela) and Adam Boffa.  Affectionately know as “Nonna” to her grandchildren Olivia, Liana and Anna Boffa. Teresa was predeceased by her father and stepmother Carlo and Rosina Russo, her mother Carmela DiMartino, and sisters Ida and Laura. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Giuseppe, sisters Gemma and Carmelina, her in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.  A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff at Helen Henderson for the wonderful care that Teresa received.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (1111 Taylor-Kidd Blvd.) on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11:00 am, with Father John Hibbard officiating.  Rite of Committal with Prayers to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. For those that wish, donations in Teresa’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of KFL&A.
