Obituary of Elsie Benford

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elsie Lorraine Benford (nee Nixon) after a brief illness at KHSC on Oct 18, 2022. Sister-in-law to Gordon Thompson of Kingston, Lorraine is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Charles Edward (Oct. 28, 2015), and is survived by sons Kerry(Diana), Ritchie(Cathy), Andy(Susan), and Fred(Melanie); grandchildren: Kristen, David, Kyle(Andrea), Kaylea(Shawn)and Chase; great-grandchildren: Emma, Olivia, and Lauren

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the two paramedics and all those at KHSC in the department of Emergency section D, Davies 4 ICU step down and Kidd 10 for their high level of professionalism and care they provided to Lorraine during this most difficult time.
