Obituary of Dominic Petrie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, Dominic Petrie (Don). Don passed away peacefully at the age of 85 at Kingston General Hospital on September 30, 2022. Don is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Diana, his children; David (Noreen), Deb and Bill (Cindy). Loved by his grandchildren; Chris (Nicole), Meagan (Brody), Riley, Kaiden, Cash and Karter and by his great granddaughter Braelyn. He is survived by his brother Cyril (Colette) of Nova Scotia and his sisters; Dorothy (Wyman) of Ontario and his sister Loney of Nova Scotia and his brother-in-law Ken (Marianne) of Ontario. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from across Canada and the United States. He is predeceased by his parents George and Catherine, his granddaughter; Taylor, his mother and father-in law; Dorothy and James Cuthbertson, his brothers; John, James, William, Robbie, Billy, Alex, and sisters; Julia, Charlotte, Millie, Annie and Frazie. He will be missed by numerous friends and colleagues from CFB Kingston and the Correctional Services of Canada. Cremation and interment have taken place.
