Obituary of Brenda Pattison

Pattison; Brenda Ruth (nee Ilan) -

Passed away peacefully with her daughter holding her hand on September 30, 2022 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 21 years; Ed Leeman. Her daughter Natasha Alliston (Jeremy), grandchildren Trinity and Lilyanna, her mother Ruth Ilan and brother Clarke (late Lisa). Brenda was predeceased by her father Wesley Ilan and brother Brian (Debbie). Brenda will be remembered by her step-children Deanna Davies (Don); children Mackenzie, Oliver and Morgan and Dominique Leeman (Roanne); children Brandon and Joshua.

Brenda was a devoted employee of Hotel Dieu Hospital for over 25 years until her retirement in 2020. She was an extremely hardworking, loyal, and thoughtful person at both work and with her friends and family.

She had a lust for the finer things in life, books and knowledge. She enjoyed history, cooking, Buddhism, gardening, theater, and home décor. Her house looked like it was out of a magazine but was always welcoming, lived in and you were greeted by a gracious hostess. She enjoyed travelling and created very meaningful memories with the people she cared about. She also loved spending time by the water and found joy and comfort with her time there.

Brenda had a great sense of humour and was so fun to be around. She will be missed greatly by her family, friends and those that had the privilege of getting to spend time with her.

As per Brenda's wishes there will be a graveside service at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 am, the family invites anyone to join them.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Kuluta Buddhist Centre in Brenda’s honour.
