Obituary of Jackie Thompson

Thompson; Jacqueline Georgina “Jackie” (nee Rix) - Passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 84. Jackie was predeceased in 2010 by her beloved husband of 50 years; Fred Thompson. She is survived by her cherished son Greg Thompson (Kathy). Jackie will be fondly remembered by her siblings John Rix, Michael Rix and Susan Gutzman, their spouses and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Barbara Rix (nee Gadd) and her brother Tony Rix. The inurnment will take place at Cataraqui Cemetery at 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Reception at James Reid Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, all are welcome to attend. Those wishing to attend the inurnment, please meet at the cemetery gates off Purdy's Mill Road. Memorial donations can be made to UHKF in Jackie’s honour.
