Obituary of Margaret Shields

Margaret Shields, age 76, of Newburgh/ Kingston, passed away on September 26th, 2022, at home in Kingston.

Margaret was born in Newburgh to Doris and Roy Weese on September 22, 1946. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband Victor John Shields and her daughter Marilyn.

Margaret is remembered by her son Lorne, her daughter Tammy, as well as her grandchildren Krystalle, John Jr., Cody, Candice, Ashley, Kenneth, Justin, and Jeannie, and great-grandchildren William, Zachary, Greyson, Myla, Kylie, Jordan, Lucas, Brianna, Kyilah, Hayden, Damen, Carson, and Mia. Her siblings Clifford, William (Billy), and Nancy will also carry her memory with them.

A wake will be held from 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm on Saturday, October 1st, 2022, at James Reid Funeral Home on John Counter Blvd. Funeral services will be held the following day Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, at James Reid Funeral Home at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Margaret wished that donations be given to The Diabetes Association and the Alzheimer's Association of Canada.
