Obituary of Michelle Bennett

Bennett; D. Michelle (nee Payne) - Michelle passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer at Providence Care Hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the young age of 51. She the beloved daughter to Cathy Brais and mother to Alex, Justyne and Christopher Bennett. She will be fondly remembered by her treasured siblings Nicole Brais (Jamie Peters) and Sean Payne (Susan Payne, her niece, Grace Payne and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles and other extended family including her estranged father Robert Payne. Michelle was a dedicated PSW for many years until cancer robbed her of working. She has been and will continue to be missed by her many colleagues and people she cared for.

There will be a Memorial Service in the Chapel at James Reid Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 am followed by a private family inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery. Michelle will be laid to rest under a gorgeous Austrian Pine Tree so that she can continue to live on vibrantly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any animal charity of your choice or to UHKF - Cancer Centre in Michelle’s honour.
