Obituary of Dwayne Rennie

November 11, 1930 - September 10, 2022
 
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our father Dwayne.
Pumpa passed peacefully with my husband Dan and I (Rhonda) by his side after battling several events over the past 2 1/2 months at KGH.
Dad left to mourn his loving wife Elaine (Burrell), son Mike (Natalie) and daughter Rhonda Dundon (Dan).
Pumpa had 5 grandchildren Alyssa (Kyle), Alanna (Jordan), Ashlynn (Konstantin), Chris (Julie) and Michelle (Shawn) and 8 great-grandchildren, Nixon, Nash, Easton, Jasmine, Tyler, Nathan, Jessica and Janessa.
Dwayne was know as "Sonny" to his siblings Junior, Eroll, Gale, Carol and Tippy.
Dwayne had a passion for playing his guitar and entertaining at numerous retirement homes and churches over several years with his fellow band members Ross, Charlie and Glen of the Gospel Music Group "The Old Hims"
 
The family will receive friends at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, on Friday, September 23, 2022 for visitation from 10:00 - 10:50 am with service to follow at 11:00 am.
 
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
