Obituary of Nancy Imrie

Nancy Lorraine Imrie (Nee Palmer) 

Nancy was born on February 1, 1941, in Pembroke, Ontario. She passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022, at Providence Care Hospital after a brief illness. She is predeceased by her loving husband John Robert Imrie (December 8, 2015), brother Cecil Palmer, and parents Olive and Cecil Palmer.

She is survived by her sons Jim Imrie (Joyce), and Ken Imrie (Laura). Grand Daughters Sara Imrie, Laura Imrie (Jason Kennedy), and great-granddaughter Claire (Sarah).

Nancy was well-traveled over her 81 years. She and her beloved husband John loved to explore new places both abroad and at home. They had roamed much of North America in their RV, making friends as they went. In recent years she found a love for music which led her to develop a larger circle of friends through local music jams in the area while she learned to play the Ukulele at the age of 78.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at both Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care Hospital for the care given to Nancy.
