Obituary of Sylvia Mann

Sylvia Anne Mann passed away peacefully at KGH Thursday, August 18th, 2022, at the age of 78 after a short struggle with breast cancer and its complications.

Sylvia is survived by her loving and dear husband Kenneth Mann of 57 years and her three children Philip, Ian, and Julie. Along with five grandchildren, four in Australia with one in California.

Sylvia and Ken immigrated from England in 1966 and soon settled in Montreal where all her children were born.

Her passion for choral music lead her from a very early age to become a member of several choirs. The music and fellowship were a lifelong source of enjoyment and fulfillment.

We will miss her caring attitude to friends and life in general.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, K7M 7H3) on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Diabetic Society of Canada

The memorial service will be held at the Sydenham Street United Church (82 Sydenham St, Kingston, ON K7L 3H4) Friday August 26 at 10:30 am with Sylvia's choir performing, and followed by a reception.
