Obituary of Linda Susan Blanchard

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Susan Blanchard (nee Poston) announce her sudden passing on Sunday, July 31st, 2022 at the age of 68.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her children Michelle (Derrick Glende), Cindy, Jennifer, Robert and Michelle; grandchildren, Mitchell, Thomas, Spencer, Thea and Lexie, her fur baby Gibbs; her brother Ron; best friend Emily Dee and numerous family members and friends.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Peter Szasz and the staff at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no formal service, however an informal Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at James Reid Funeral home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston ON.

In lieu of flowers and to honour the many years that Linda devoted to the children that she fostered and cared for while residing in Alberta, donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Ronald McDonald House Canada.
