Obituary of Donna Winnifred Marie Casford
CASFORD, Donna Winnifred Marie "Mrs. C" (nee: McIntosh)
October 13, 1942 - May 2, 2020
After a courageous battle, the Lord called our Mom home on May 2nd, 2020 with her children by her side. We will never forget the strength, dignity, courage, sense of humour and the grace Mom showed fighting this battle. Our love for Mom will never end. Mom meant so much to so many and she will never be forgotten. Mom was kind, generous, giving and loved everyone unconditionally without judgement. Mom was a devoted wife, an amazing Mother and Grandmother who cherished her family who were everything to her. Mom loved her fur babies, Ricky and Tyson. Mom's faith in the Lord was unwavering and she loved her Calvary Bible Church family.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Millen "Sonny" Casford and survived by her 4 children: Linda Scott (predeceased Rick), Lorrie Scott (Randy), Randy Casford (Liane), Sandy Begbie (Brian) and her 9 grandchildren: Matt Scott, Mike Scott (Olivia), Michelle Ivimey (Stuart), Melissa Scott (Kenton), Cole (Alex), Kyle, Logan, Nick and Ben. They will forever miss their Granny for she was always their biggest cheerleader and was so proud of them all.
Donna was predeceased by her 4 brothers: Leonard, Ned, Garry and Bumpy (Frank) McIntosh.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and PCA workers at KGH (Connell 10) who helped care for our precious Mom during her final days. The family would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to family and friends who faithfully prayed for our Mother.
Due to the current COVID19 pandemic restrictions, there will be a service and celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Calvary Bible Church (395 Nelson St.) in memory of Mom would be greatly appreciated.
