Obituary of Mark Bass

Mark Bass
(1964-2022)

Mark died suddenly in a tragic accident on July 15, 2022.  He was 57 years of age.

He is survived by his children Isaac and Emily, the mother to his children Laura Nelson, his parents David and Shirley, his brother Peter and his nieces Kayleigh and Adriana.

A small private service has been held and no other service will take place.  Memorials from friends and former students have been posted on his Facebook page.  

Mark will be remembered as an elementary school teacher, a lover of nature and the spiritual life, a musician, a debater, a paddler of the waters in Algonquin Park, a sports coach and participant, a cook, a dog lover, a reader, a philosopher, a planter of trees and a landscaper.
