Obituary of Denis Devitt

Devitt, William Denis - Denis passed away after a battle with cancer at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 69.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Bettyann (nee Godfrey) and his children Ryan (Heather) and Todd (Gloria).  He is the beloved grandpa to Corey and Clara and honorary grandfather to Shane. 

He is survived by his brother Gary Devitt (Kathy) and Diane Devitt (Christopher) and numerous siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews and many other extended family and friends. 

The family will be accepting visitors to James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again Friday, July 15, 2022 from 9:00 to 9:50 am.  There will be a service following in the chapel at 10:00 am.  Cremation will take place following the service. 

Memorial donations can be made in Denis’s honour to Canadian Cancer Society or the Children’s Miracle Network.
