Fern Dale Brown
On Friday, June 24, 2022, at Rideaucrest Home, Fern (Reid) quietly passed away in her 71st year. Fern, beloved wife of 31 years to Doug of Railton Road, and cherished sister of Karl and Monty Reid. Fern was a very special aunt to Tina Campbell and her children, Regan and Ashley (Matt) Desrosiers.
Remembered by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Alf Lunman and their sons Corey, Kyle and Casey. Predeceased by parents, Clarence and Nadine (Abrams) Reid, sister Lori and brother-in-law Mike Regan. Thank you to all the staff of Garden Walk at Rideaucrest Home for the wonderful care that Fern received.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston (please enter through the rear parking lot doors). A service celebrating her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 1:00 pm, followed by cremation.
For those who wish, donations in Fern’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Kingston, the Humane Society or Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre.
