Obituary of Joan Blanche Foley

Foley, Joan Blanche (née Fraser), dear daughter of the late Donald and Helen Fraser (née Shurie), passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24^th in her 89^th year at The John Parrott Centre in Napanee, Ontario. Joan was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, John Foley. Joan was the proud mother of Donald (Debra) of Calgary, Douglas (Christine) of Kingston, Christopher (Linda) of Trenton, Edward of Kingston, and Elaine Ainslie (Malcolm) of Kingston.  She was also the proud grandmother of Jenna and Kaitlin Foley, Steven and Christopher Gerdis, Chelsea Foley, and Ian and Everett Ainslie. Joan was predeceased by her twin sister Jean Danford, brother Donald (Nick) Fraser, and sister Harriet Hendricks and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. In keeping with Joan’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held.  For those who wish, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to The John M Parrott Centre, Napanee ON.
