Obituary of Marja-Leena Ruuska

Marja-Leena (Maria) Ruuska passed away unexpectedly but very peacefully on June 17th, 2022 at the age of 72. Born in Kauhajoki, Finland she emigrated to Canada in 1972. She was a wonderful mother and loving friend to many all over Canada, USA and Finland.

Predeceased by her parents Salomon and Helmi Tuokko of Metsäpirtti, Finland. Survived by her two daughters Niina Mendez and Dina Ruuska and grandchildren Zaayne Mendez and Nora Morton (Ruuska), ex husband and friend, Ahti Ruuska and Eeva Nurminiemi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada are appreciated.
