Obituary of Rose Patterson

PATTERSON, Edythe Rose (neé Nuttall)

Died unexpectedly and peacefully in hospital, on Sunday 29^th May 2022, at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Bernard (2008). Loving and proud mother of Lindsey (Duncan Hunter) and grandmother of Eirlys Hunter. Rose was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, England. She grew up there and later worked there as an executive administrator before emigrating to Canada in 2006 with Bernie, to live next door to her daughter and granddaughter. She embraced her new life, new friends and family in Kingston. The family are deeply grateful for the care and kindness that Rose received from the staff at Kingston General Hospital, on Connell 10, and the Davies 4 & Kidd 2 Intensive Care Units.

Well-wishers are invited to a visitation, service and refreshments at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME at 1900 John Counter Blvd., with visitation from 10:00- 10:50 am and funeral service following at 11:00 am on Friday, June 3^rd. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, in her memory.
