Edrie Joule

Obituary of Edrie Edna Joule

Joule, Edrie (nee Boyd)

September 23, 1921 - May 26, 2022

It is with sad hearts and a lifetime of wonderful memories that we share the passing of Edrie Joule, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Joule. Cherished mother of Christopher and Jennifer (predeceased). Predeceased by parents Leroy and Gertrude Boyd, brothers Ed (Marg) Boyd and Max (Sunny) Boyd. Survived by loving nieces and nephews, their children, and grandchildren.

Edrie’s mind was sharp to the end, her faith strong and her indomitable spirit an inspiration to all who had the good fortune to know her. She was a voracious reader throughout her life and her thirst for knowledge was insatiable. As a teacher, she passed that love for learning on to the countless students she inspired throughout her teaching career.  We will miss her dry sense of humor and kind, generous heart, that knew no bounds.

Many thanks to the staff at Arbour Heights in Kingston for their care and kindness over the years.
