Obituary of Shirley Margaret Heumann

HEUMANN, Shirley

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Heumann on Friday, May 20, at the age of 94. Shirley peacefully entered into rest surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick Heumann, predeceased by her brother Robert Plumridge, sister Vivian Fraser and brother-in-law, Weldon Fraser. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Elaine Plumridge, niece Debby Ruttan (Larry) and her nephews Rod Fraser (Debbie), Weldon Brett Plumridge (Michelle), Jonathon Plumridge (Jo) and Mike Plumridge. Great aunt to Lindsay (Dustin), Toyia (Craig), Rorey (Brittany), Caleb, Kiera, Emily (Neil), Laura (Kevin), Shawn (Shannon) and Thomas (Carrisa). Great – great aunt to Hailey, Mila, Mason, Emelyn, Spencer, Priya, Parker, Meghan and Jade. Shirley’s generosity and strength was felt by all family and friends and left lasting memories.

Cremation will take place this week at James Reid Funeral Home and details for a celebration of Life to be announced.

The family wishes to extend a special thank – you to Helen Henderson Care Center and the team of nurses and doctors at KGH for their comforting and professional care.

Family and friends who desire, can make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, which would be appreciated by her family.
