William Russell Campbell

September 25, 1933 - May 12, 2022

All things must end; and now on to the next phase. It's time for me to get outa dodge.

I am survived by my wonderful wife, Arlene (Lolly), our two amazing and talented sons, Ken and Bill Jr., my B.D.I.L. (Mary), grandchildren, Lauren (Ajay), Brian (Andrea) and Melanie (Evan), eight great-grandchildren, in-laws (June, John, Goldie, Wayne and Chiclet), cousins, nieces, nephews and a faithful number of friends. All of the above meant so much to me.

I am particularly grateful that my Lolly decided to marry me. Most people would suggest a Sainthood for Lolly because she got me off the streets and we were married for some 68 years - 68 great years.

I was predeceased by my siblings and my wonderful mother - Helen Richards Campbell.

My life has been a terrific journey, full of great times and a few bumps in the road, and an extraordinary amount of good luck which resulted in a thoroughly satisfying life.

It doesn't really matter the amount of money we amass, nor the material things we have. What does matter is the long-lasting friendships we make during our lives. Everything else is tinkertoys.

Cremation has taken place. The Memorial Service to honour his life will take place at James Reid Funeral Home on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 am.
