Ila passed away unexpectedly at her home in Kingston on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the age of 74. She is the loving mother to Corey Fisher (Chantale Lavoie) and grandmother to Sabrina Merkley (Greg) and step-grandmother to Randy Lavoie (Courtney), Ashton Lavoie, Sabastian Lavoie, Tyler Logan (Tiara) and Alexander Fudge. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren Isaac, Gracie, Charlotte, Daxon, Maybelle and Noah.

Ila was full of life always cooking for family and community, She truly enjoyed her time with family especially her great grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Kingston Humane Society to honour Ila.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Yarker date to be determined.
