Obituary of Brian Legrow Cahill

Brian Legrow Cahill, 78, of Kingston, Ontario, passed away quietly in his home on April 8, 2022. Brian was born on August 12, 1943, to Brian Cahill and Gwendolyn Legroom in St. John’s Newfoundland.  Survived by his loving children Shaun (April) and Chantal (Ralph), and will be lovingly remembered by his sister Gwendolyn Reich.   Loving and proud grandfather of Kyle, Daenerys, and Grayson.

The family would like to express their gratitude and warm thanks to all staff at the Waterford Retirement Residence for their ongoing compassionate care provided to Brian. 

Brian will always be remembered as a gentleman who enjoyed reading, laughing, food and storytelling. He will be missed by every person that he touched throughout his life.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be buried at the Cataraqui Cemetery overlooking the pond. Those who knew Brian would know that he would take immense pleasure in being buried in one of the most historically significant cemeteries in Canada.  A private service will be held for close family and friends on April 27^th.
