Obituary of Myrtle Doreen Magee

MAGEE, Myrtle Doreen – Peacefully passed away in her 90th year on February 21, 2022, with her family at her side. 

Born in Kingston, Ontario in 1932 to Bruce and Marguerite Hitchcock, Myrtle was a strong, independent role model to us all. She was beautiful, resilient, progressive, and had a great sense of humour. Her children and grandchildren were her vigour and her greatest delight. She was the world to us as we were to her. Her memory is a blessing to us and she will forever be in our hearts.

Predeceased by her husbands, James Magee and Robert B. Allinson, she leaves her children Robert (Dale) and Scott (Melissa), and grandchildren Shannon, Jeff, Sienna, and Miles, and her surviving brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff in the palliative care unit at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston for the excellent care she received during her last few weeks.
