Obituary of Madeline Doris Lawson
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Madeline Lawson (Mabel or Beula) age 78 at Kingston General Hospital on February 18, 2022, Kingston Ontario. Born to parents George and Helen Cummings on June 16, 1943, at Kingston General Hospital.
She was most happy when she was playing bingo, card games, seeing family and grandchildren plus great-grandchildren in Kingston, and on the computer via skype. Madeline will be missed most for her humility and compassion towards family. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Bruce Lawson, son Rick Lawson (Shelia) and Jason Lawson (Jennifer), Daughter Lori Wilson (Doug), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and their families. Predeceased by parents George and Helen Cummings, sister Vera (Joe) Teal, Mildred Cummings (Ron Boudreau), brother Harold Cummings, Francis Cummings who passed away the day after Madeline February 19, 2022.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who reached out with prayers and condolences. There will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 12:00 pm. A funeral service in the chapel will be held at 1:00 pm with a burial to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens 2563 Division St, Glenburnie. Reception to be held afterward at the James Reid Funeral Home. Due to limited space you must RSVP to attend in person by calling 613-544-3411 between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
