Obituary of Olive Rosalie Kostur

KOSTUR, Olive Rosalie (nee Brook)

August 17, 1926 – February 15, 2022

Olive entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, KGH, at the age of 95.  Olive, beloved wife of the late Wasyl (Bill) Kostur (2013).  Loving mother of George Kostur of Kingston and Patricia Rush (David) of Dublin, Ireland and cherished grandmother of Judah, Kyle, Bethany and Liam.  She will be sadly missed by her surviving brothers and sisters, friends and the staff and residents of the Conservatory Pond Retirement Residence.  Olive was a former member of the R.C.A.F., the Silver Wings and volunteered for many years in the library at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd.  Friends will be received on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 10:00 – 10:50 am, followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 am.  Burial will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens where Olive will be reunited with her beloved Bill.  All guests who wish to attend the visitation and service must provide their QR Enhanced Vaccine Certificate and personal ID once they arrive, and mask wearing is mandatory.
